Today's the day! We are sharing our FREE Aloe Vera plant pattern with you! We had fun using these as the centerpiece of our Spring table, but they are also a great way to bring some green to your desk or window sill while it's still cold and muddy outside. And bonus - you can't kill it!
Our Aloe Vera is made from two green "plantlike" fabrics, Fragments in Green and Quilter's Linen in Leaf. Two layers of Decor Bond Interfacing keep the leaves smooth and crisp. I love the way you can see the roots of a plant when you pull it out of the plastic box from the green house. So, of course our aloe vera needed some soil and roots! A sheet of felt and some white embroidery thread are all you need to add this extra detail to your Aloe.
The Planter Bucket is just another variation of our Bucket Tote pattern - this time we skipped the handles and the batting to give it a more relaxed look. Are you ready to get started?!
