Graduation gifts are on the minds of many, so we thought we’d share a few tutorials for card cases /slim wallets. These are gifts that any graduate would appreciate with a gift card or a few bucks tucked inside!
To make theses card cases you only need a few supplies: material of your choice (leather is a great choice, but vinyl, felt or fabric with some interfacing work great too,) a ruler, your choice of cutting tools (rotary cutter or scissors), and a sewing machine. In just a few minutes you can whip up a card case for your favorite graduate. Consider making several at a time – it probably won’t take much longer than making one and these are great gifts to keep on hand. You can always give the cardholder as is, but it’s also a great way to add a personal touch to a gift card or cash.
We’d love to see what you create. Feel free to share photos with us on Facebook or use the tag #mtsewing on Instagram.
